The Witcher 3 First Expansion Pack Is Set To release This October

CD Projekt Red announced that The Witcher 3 is getting it’s first expansion pack “Hearts Of Stone” which will be released this October 13th.  The game will have only two expansion packs. The other one will arrive in 2016.

The Heart Of Stones will give users some new monsters, romance, story line and characters. The expansion pack will also have 10 hours of content. Heart Of Stones can be accessed anytime during the campaign but, it is designed for level 30 or above players. 10 hours of story line also comes with the expansion. Geralt of Rivia receives a contract to kill the bandit captain who is immortal. It is up to you how you want to play it. A teaser of the expansion shows that Geralt is being kept as a prisoner.

Normal expansion costs around $10 but the limited boxed edition of the expansion is for $20/€20 that includes physical Gwent cards – Monster and Scoia’tael decks. The second expansion pack Blood & Wine” will release in 2016 and will cost around $20.
