Star Wars Day Brings New Games + Bonuses for Existing Titles

May 4th is known online as “Star Wars Day,” and the day is usually packed with Star Wars content across the galaxy of entertainment, whether it be their movies, books, or games. The name was bestowed upon this date because May 4th reminds people of “May the Force be with You,” the popular phrase uttered in the Star Was universe.  Appropriately for the day, EA Games, who have worked on the bestselling Star Wars video game titles, made the announcement of a new upcoming game. They also announced a few special updates available for the May 4 celebration.

EA shared that they’re working with Respawn Entertainment on a the development “of an all-new 3rd person action adventure game set in the Star Wars universe.” The company isn’t the only one working on upcoming games for Star Wars either, with EA saying they’re working with Visceral Games, DICE, Capital Games, BioWare, Motive and more. Respawn Entertainment is the game developer behind Titanfall and Titanfall 2.

In the press release, Patrick Söderlund, Executive Vice President of EA Studios shared their excitement over continuing the Star Wars saga with a new game developer.
